Griffith Construction, Inc. handles commercial and residential sheetrock and drywall repair. Our crews are trained in the full range of repairs and finishing techniques, and we have been locally owned and operated since 1999.
Between tenants there is a fixed window and a list of damage. Anchors pulled out of walls, corner bead dented by trolleys, holes where fixtures came down. This is fast work for a crew that does it constantly, and the finish has to be good enough that the whole wall does not need repainting.
Water damage in a commercial building usually arrives from above and shows up as staining across a ceiling grid or down a partition. Board that has been wet needs cutting out rather than drying and painting, or the stain comes back through and you pay twice.
The difficult part of drywall is never the patch, it is feathering the joint so nothing shows once the wall is coated and the lights are on. Under commercial lighting, which is far less forgiving than a domestic lamp, a badly feathered repair is visible from across the room.
